Rochester Area Rug Hookers (RARH) is a certified chapter of the Association of Traditional Hookers (ATHA) with the following goals:

1) To develop and promote interest in rug hooking
2) To maintain high standards and encourage creativity in the art form
3) To provide the means for an exchange of ideas and information among the members, and
4) To promote educational activities to enhance the interest in, and quality of, rug hooking.

RARH holds two events per year in Rochester, MN. In recent years, these have been held at Assisi Heights Spirituality Center. The Spring Retreat is a 3-day hooking event to enjoy the fellowship of rug hookers. 3-4 local vendors are in attendance at this event. The second event is a 3-day Fall Workshop taught by a nationally known teacher.

Membership in RARH gives first priority access to these events as well as the twice-monthly hooking days at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester, MN.
