2026 Fall Retreat
Registration flyers for the Fall 2026 retreat were sent out at the end of May 2026. Registration forms will be accepted starting July 1 for members and July 15 for non-members. The form is now available under the events tab for easy printing and submission. All details are included in the flyer, accessible below by clicking the link or downloading a copy if you didn’t receive it via email. About Us:
Rochester Area Rug Hookers (RARH) is a certified chapter of the Association of Traditional Hookers (ATHA) with the following goals:
1) To develop and promote interest in rug hooking
2) To maintain high standards and encourage creativity in the art form
3) To provide the means for an exchange of ideas and information among the members, and
4) To promote educational activities to enhance the interest in, and quality of, rug hooking.
RARH holds two events per year in southern MN. Both retreats are 3-day hooking events to enjoy the fellowship of rug hookers. Often times we have a nationally known teacher provide a workshop and, of course, we have 3-4 local vendors in attendance.
Membership in RARH gives first priority access to these events as well as the twice-monthly hooking days at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester, MN.
